Uche Ezejiofor is a researcher and strategist whose work engages the question of who owns Africa's Future. Her work examines how technology, governance, and political organizing, shape what is possible for African and Global South today. Her work sits at the intersection of International Development, Pan-African studies, Black feminist theory, and postcolonial critique, and she translates that scholarship into policy-relevant analysis that practitioners and institutions can implement in real-time. Uche has an MA in Pan-African Studies.

background

Currently, countries across the African continent lack the political maturity and governance skillset to adequately provide public services to many of its people. On the other hand, US public service delivery rivals that of many global south countries despite the various places for it to be strengthened ( ie. accessible and affordable healthcare). My positioning as a Nigerian American scholar provides me with the frameworks of effective public service delivery while also engaging with the failures of US governance. Through this, I deploy an innovative approach to global South civil society organizations throughout my analysis, policy briefings, and research.
